Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Confirmed at confirmed.events ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Platform.

Our Role

Confirmed is a technology platform that connects event organizers with attendees. We provide tools for creating, discovering, managing, and registering for events and communities. We are not an event organizer ourselves and are not responsible for the content, quality, or safety of events listed on our platform.

User Accounts

To use certain features of the Platform, you must create an account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating your account and to keep this information up to date. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Authentication is handled via one-time passcodes sent to your email address or through Google sign-in. You are responsible for maintaining access to your registered email address.

Content

You retain ownership of all content you create on the Platform, including event descriptions, community information, images, and other materials ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant Confirmed a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Platform.

You are solely responsible for your User Content and represent that you have all necessary rights to post it. We reserve the right to remove any User Content that violates these Terms.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Create or promote fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive events
• Send spam, unsolicited messages, or bulk communications
• Harass, threaten, or intimidate other users
• Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
• Upload malicious software, viruses, or harmful code
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or platform systems
• Use the Platform for any illegal purpose

Event Organizer Responsibilities

If you create events on Confirmed, you agree to provide accurate and truthful event information, including dates, times, locations, and descriptions. You are responsible for honoring all registrations made through the Platform and for communicating any changes to registered attendees in a timely manner.

Event organizers are responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations regarding their events.

Payments and Subscriptions

Confirmed offers subscription plans for event organizers. All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to pay the applicable fees as described on our pricing page.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle (monthly or annually) unless you cancel before the renewal date. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your account settings at any time.

Refunds for subscriptions are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact us at support@confirmed.events for refund inquiries.

Intellectual Property

The Confirmed name, logo, branding, and platform code are the property of Confirmed and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or trademarks without our prior written consent.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Confirmed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the Platform.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Confirmed and its affiliates, officers, and employees from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your User Content, or your violation of these Terms.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if you violate these Terms or engage in activity that is harmful to the Platform or other users. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
